I'M SO SORRY
A large scale text work printed on a transluscent scrim placed so that viewers pass around it or through it to access the gallery. It is a screen through which one can see the space beyond. On this screen is a text which can bee seen from both sides. It is a fictional text based on the words of a bystander intervening angrily in an outdoor performance entitled Cinéma in 2004. The text refers to the gestures of the performers (see Duet) as well as the intrusiveness of the audience and the suspicion that cameras were recording in a shared public space.
