Push!
Presented at galerie B312, Montreal, PUSH! was as an experiment in collaborative process built around a collective exhibition/ installation on photography and violence. For this exhibition I invited four artists to converse with me around how photography engages the profound violence of the modern era and how photography permeates our way of understanding the world. I conjectured a connection between violence and photography, and by extension that this visual field permeates, as background noise, the image-based of commercial/ consumer culture.
